Surgery course given by Jean-Nicolas Marjolin for the year 1817-1818. A specialist in anatomy, Marjolin then gave a very popular surgery course in Paris. Private teaching that he gave in his own amphitheater on rue Saint-Julien le Pauvre. In 1818, Marjolin was appointed to the chair of external pathology.

The writer is Louis Joseph Dimbarre whose medical thesis passed in 1825 in Paris can be found.
